Criminology is the scientific study of crime and the causes of criminal behavior. Your textbook describes numerous theories that attempt to explain the root causes of criminal behavior. Your assignment is to develop yourown theoryof the causes of crime.
You may incorporate one or more of the theories presented in the text or you may develop your own.
You may also narrow your theory down a specific crime (or group of crimes) or you may offer a general theory.
There is no right or wrong, however, your paper needs to be well thought out and you must be able to defend your theory.
The paper must beoriginal and in your own words.Make sure that you properly cite any outside sources used in your paper
