Master of Arts in Ministry Capstone Project
Demonstrate evidence of the ability to review personal ministry and evaluate its effectiveness.
Demonstrate evidence of mastery of understanding the content of the previous masters classes completed and evaluation of salience to current ministry.
Demonstrate evidence of integration of masters level learning and scholarship into practical ministry plan that flows from the personal credo and philosophy of ministry. This plan will be tailored to a current or future ministry venture or problem and will provide a vision and plan for leading the way forward. This will have specific goals and objectives as well as measurement techniques integrated in the plan.
These objectives are intentionally broad to allow students freedom for scholarship and creativity in their own practitioner style.
Required Elements
A clear statement of the problem that is to be solved.
Organized and clearly stated theological/scriptural/biblical basis. Integrate learning from the majority of your MA program classes and personal research.
Demonstrate forward thinking and practical application of learning to ministry.
Provide a solution that is specific to a real ministry. That will be easy if you are the leader, but if not, then talk to the leadership and see if your solution would be doable even it will not immediately be implemented.
