Overview: St. Augustine is one of the early Church Fathers and one of most prolific Christian writers in the period of the late Roman Empire. He came from Among his many works, one of the most is his autobiography entitled Confessions where he discusses his struggles to become a Christian. He received an excellent Roman education because his family was affluent. Fun Fact: After her death, Augustines mother was canonized a saint. She is St. Monica.

Details: You will be reading the Confessions and writing about one theme on which he focuses.
