Step 1) Review the above links so you have an understanding of what the Hero’s Journey is (the stages according to Joseph Campbell).
Step 2) Think of a MODERN day (1970s-today) fictitious character that you think could qualify as an archetypal hero.
You canNOT use the examples they provide at these links (Katniss, Luke Skywalker, Neo, etc).
You might notice that Beowulf does not fulfill all of these stages, so please know that your chosen character does not have to either, as long as they demonstrate most of them.
Your character should be from TV, movies, art, literature, video games, comic books, or any other such artistic medium–fictional, not real people.
Step 3) Post your discussion (in the box, not as an attachment) identifying your chosen character and explaining how they fulfill various stages of the Monomyth. Complete sentences and thorough explanations are expected. Aim for at least 250 words.
Step 4) Reply to at least one classmate who wrocixte about a different character.
