Non-Western:
East Asia
Egypt
Persian Empire
Sassanid Empire
African Societies and Kingdoms
Incas
Mayans
Aztecs
Mongols
For your final paper you will need to review the civilizations studied and answer three of the following questions:
Do you agree that the Western civilizations have a clear lineage that focuses on the majority of these attributes; competition/innovation, science, property rights, personal freedoms, and free-market economy?
