As we have seen in the course business as mission has a very strong theological foundation and basis. Further, there are many different forms and methods for combining business, ministry and mission. The application and integration of evangelical Faith plays a very large part in a Business as Mission oriented endeavor as our faith is often what drives our desire to integrate business and ministry. However, the challenge and tension of applying your faith often increases the more you direct your efforts into a secular arena (generates criticism, misunderstanding, persecution, etc).
Comment on the challenges that are likely to arise (or that you have experienced) when you direct a business as ministry (or ministry as business) into the secular arena, and how difficult it will be to integrate Faith into your endeavors (since it may turn away those you want to do business with). What would you suggest that an organization do to still have a very strong faith integration in a very secular arena?
