I need a literature review that focuses on previous tests of reliability for MBTI (Meyers- Briggs Type Indicator) tests. I found one study that is in the files 2 more are needed. Research question: Is the Meyers Briggs Personality Test reliable? Here are some guidelines.
Literature Review.
1) Finding relevant sources. For this section, you will need to find three
relevant sources that provide background information on your research
question. These sources must be from peer-reviewed journals and must be
research reports (have Introduction/Method/Results/Discussion sections).
Note that dissertations and masters theses are not peer reviewed and do not
meet these requirements. To do this well, you will likely have to read more
than just three papers, since often after reading a paper, you will realize that
it was not fully relevant to your question. You will be graded on your choice of
papers and their relevance to your question, as well as how accurately you
summarize them.
2) Summarize each of the three papers. In 5-6 sentences, describe: a) the big
question that the researchers were answering in their paper; b) an overview
of the method they used to analyze their paper; c) a summary of their results,
in plain language without using statistical terminology, d) what those results
mean in terms of their initial question.
3) Integrate the three papers. Explain how the results of these three papers fit
together. Specifically, identify similarities in the results, or any differences. Did
they all agree about the answer to the research question you are interested
in? Or did they disagree? If they disagreed, why do you think they did; is it
because they used different methods, different populations, measured at
different times, or something else?
