State any special personal or family circumstances affecting your need for financial assistance
Explain why you would benefit from being awarded a scholarship, The Statement of Financial Need should be concise and compelling.

I am in need of financial assistance in order to attend this graduate program because I am a low-income student. To reduce financial burden, I will take out student loans to pay for my tuition. However, with the increasing tuition, I am facing more challenges on financial need also because of the rigorous coursework of graduate school I will be unable to work while attending school. As a grad student I wish to spend more time on my major courses because these courses are crucial in my future career and obtaining my accounting license. Unfortunately, financial burden may lessen my time on mastering the courses, therefore, I would greatly appreciate a helping hand.

Awarding this scholarship will make great contribution to my study in USC Leventhal. This scholarship would allow me to focus more on my studies, and seek opportunities for mentorships, and take advantage of university resources. Additionally, awarding this scholarship would further motivate me to pursue academic excellence and career development.

While working as a freelance designer and other gig jobs in the industry I had to maintain two other jobs as well. I would work opening hours at a fitness center, archival work for a film foundation, and then design work at night. Because of Covid, I was unable to keep up with all three jobs so my finances were extremely difficult to maintain. I was unable to save much money.
