Directions: Select one topic from below and write a short paper about it. Use the Internet to research your topic to help you discuss any new discoveries or inventions dealing with your topic or any other relevant, interesting information.
Topic Options (choose one):
Your Favorite Life Skills Topic – What was your favorite topic in this course? Why was it your favorite topic and how have you applied what you learned to your real life? Use two sources other than the textbook to show what else you have learned about this topic and how his information is related to your personal circumstances.
Important: As you are researching, keep in mind that you will need to keep track of where you get information. You will need your source details later to create a Reference Page and in-text citations.
Basic Writing Rules:
Use the font called Times New Roman
Use a 12 point size font.
Your paper should be double-spaced.
Your text should be aligned to the left.
Indent the first line of new paragraphs using the tab key.
You must indicate information from outside sources with in-text citations.
The paper should have three major sections:
Title Page
Your Essay (about two pages long)
Reference Page
Source Requirements:
Include at least 2 sources retrieved from public websites (please do not use websites that require usernames/passwords).
