Assignment Question
For this assignment, you should select a southern foodways related topic that interests you and develop a thesis question that can be answered through published sources. You must be able to support your thesis with specifically archaeological, historical, data. These should be specific and provable, rather than general or vague. The paper must be at least 10 full pages, double spaced, and should include a thesis, supporting arguments, and a conclusion.
MLA format and in-paper (parenthetical) citation.
Sources: Sources must be high quality, peer reviewed or primary documents. At least 5 sources must be used. Encyclopedias do not qualify as sources, but peer reviewed journal articles, scholarly books, or unpublished archival collections of primary documents do.
