Review the critical approaches to literature Download critical approaches to literature(via handouts on Canvas and in Chapter 49 Critical Approaches to Literature 1889-1917). Write a paper analyzing the characters in The Metamorphosis and/or Bartleby, the Scrivener using one of the critical approaches as your primary lens and incorporating at least two scholarly journal articles. You are welcome to focus on one novella, or you can do a compare-contrast paper with the two novellas. You are welcome to focus on one or more than one character.

You are also welcome to use the critical essays in the optional Norton Bartleby if you purchased the copy; I will count these as outside sources.
