The final project for this course applies a process where leaders and other members of a small healthcare organization take initiative and work together to enact change. This course follows Ebener and Smith’s strategic planning process, which can change an organizations planning process and build a sense of ownership among those whose buy-in is key to organizational change and improvement. The final project consists of creating an eight-step strategic planning process map for a small healthcare organization of your choice.

For the purposes of the final project, imagine you have been chosen as an external facilitator for a small healthcare organization. Your assignment for this module is to complete the first step in Ebener and Smith’s strategic planning process map. Follow the instructions below to complete the assignment.
