1. The overall purpose: is detection the insulators in the substation which use to distribute electrical energy in the local area of Cambodia with better results. Furthermore, by choosing the method for studying the quality of the insulator by using this method for detection will achieved with high efficiency and safety. I want to explore the weaknesses in the current method of studying the quality of insulators and improves these methods by improving faster R-CNN method. Aiming at the detection of insulator are with different aspect ratios and scales, with mutual occlusion, with complex backgrounds and blurred edges. Therefore, we study and discuss the improvement of Faster R-CNN model detection accuracy, and then study and discuss the improvement of Faster R-CNN model detection speed and model size.
