Instructions: recently you read two different versions of the Prometheus myth and the Pandora myth, and we looked at those differences in class and considered the reasons behind those changes. For this assignment, you will write another version of either the Prometheus myth or the Pandora myth, keeping the essential meaning of your chosen myth but changing other elements in any manner you choose in order to create your own unique version of the myth.

Guidelines:

Final myths should be double-spaced and at least two pages.

As long as the final message of the myth remains the samethat Prometheus was punished for defying Zeus to help mankind, or that Pandora was overcome by temptation but that hope survivedyou may recreate the myth in any manner you wish. Feel free to incorporate Greek mythology as you see fit, or to change the background entirely, using characters from other mythologies, or perhaps even modernizing the myth to give it a more current-day feel.

This is a creative writing assignment that will be graded out of 100 writing points. Please proofread your writing for grammatical errors, and keep in mind that Im looking for style and creativity above all else.
