I am writing my statement of Purpose to the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) for a PhD in Sustainability Management from the Faculty of Environment, University of Waterloo, Canada.

Outlining the main areas of academic and other expertise, experience and curiosity in sustainability management.
The main area(s) of interest (e.g., sustainable development, sustainable finance, corporation social responsibility, life-cycle assessment, social marketing) developmental issues, sustainable finance, sustainable corporations, life-cycles, etc. that the student hopes to emphasize in course and thesis work.
Information on prior education, training, practical experience, field work, publications, or other accomplishments pertinent to areas of interest.

I would like my Statement of Interest to sound professional and convincing that I am passionate about what I do, my background has prepared me for this and my proposed supervisor is an Executive, Professor and Expert Jurist in International Law, Governance & Partnerships for Sustainable Development.
