Devices used
Software/APPS, Tools, Websites
Provide a brief commentary for each, with the necessary characteristics that someone unfamiliar with them would understand
Definitions? Here’s an Open Textbook on IS: https://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/textbooks/information-systems-for-business-and-beyond (Links to an external site.)
Include practices, whether your own or company policies, that you use. Examples: zero inbox, getting things done (GTD), tagging, Pomodoro method, taking 5 deep breaths before replying to a contentious email…
3. Commentary
Share some insight on your Tech Stack: what works well, what needs fixing? How could you improve this? What frustrates you?
Hint: Look at the Systems Reflection from Lesson #34.
4. Value-Mapping
Your Tech Stack is all well-and-good but, for upper management to really care, we want to know how this relates to a performance metric.
Explain how your Tech Stack relates to value-creation and a specific Key Performance Indicator. Ensure you define and explain the KPI.
5. Submission
Submission is a “Text Entry” in CNVS.
Even though you can, do not upload/attach a document. Enter your text directly into CNVS.
Recommend preparing your assignment offline & then copy/paste into the Submission Text Entry Area
Not recommended to just start typing…you will probably lose what you wrote and have to start over.
Recommend: Use Grammarly (free) to check your spelling/grammar.
Use ONE font, ONE size, ONE color.
Recommend using boldface for emphasis, bullets for organization, and the same numbers/headers I use in the instructions.
While I love bullet points, they are not sufficient by themselves. Provide ample descriptive text.
Avoid Marketing-Speak from company websites: This software is the world’s best #1 greatest…
Feel free to use outside sources for definitions/descriptions and provide a link or citation information.
