Essay topic should be an issue or problem that exists in American education.
Produce a causal analysis essay that examines the causes and/or effects leading to or resulting from the issue or problem you identified. The essay should be 3 to 5 pages in length, and it should draw on a variety of academic or public sources. You must incorporate borrowed material from at least 4 sources. The paper should use either MLA or APA style.
Your essay should include the following parts:
Introduction: This is where you hook your readers, introduce the problem/issue, and provide any necessary background information. Be sure to include an explicitly stated thesis at the end of this paragraph. Your thesis should indicate the paper’s purpose: to investigate the causes and/or effects leading to the problem/issue.
Body: This is where you examine the factors leading to and/oror resulting the problem or issue
Examine, in detail, the various causes/effects that contribute to/stem from the problem or issue
Build toward the strongest, most reasonable explanation for the cause of the problem and/or most serious effect
Remember to keep your analysis as objective and rational as possible
Conclusion: This is where you wrap everything up. Be sure to remind readers of the problem or issue and recap the significant contributing causes and/or most pressing effects. You might consider expressing desire for a swift resolution, predicting consequences if the trend continues, or proposing an avenue for solving the problem.
