Your essay must be submitted online, via Ulwazi, through Assignments on the Navigation panel. The
submission is due on Tuesday 3 May. Essays submitted on Wednesday, 4 May via Ulwazi will be
accepted as late, and will only be marked to 50%.
Only under extraordinary circumstances will the coursecoordinator grant an extension. Any
extension request must be received timeously beforehand and be accompanied by evidence.
Extensions will not be given for work commitments, Turnitin delays, or ICT complications or late
registrations.
This coursework essay constitutes a due performance requirement which means that if it is not
submitted your exam equivalent essay will not be marked. Use the New Times Roman font, size 12,
1.5 line spacing, paragraph aligned left or centred, with a page number at the bottom of each page.
Your word count must be at minimum 3000 words, at maximum, 4000 words, excluding the
bibliography. Going above, or below this word count will negatively affect your mark. Do not submit
the essay with a cover page or plagiarism declaration this will increase your Turnitin score
unnecessarily, and you will be penalised 10% if you include these documents.
