Accidents involving construction cranes have dominated U.S. headlines in recent years. In April 2019 a tower crane toppled onto a downtown Seattle street, killing four people and injuring three others. Then in June 2019, a crane collapsed in Dallas during a windstorm, killing one person, injuring several others and causing extensive damage to a downtown apartment building.
The purpose of this online discussion is for us to get to better understand the potential risk and safety concerns of using cranes on the construction sites.
