In this paper, you will analyze an organization of your choosing. The organization you choose can be one that you have been a part of or it can be one that you are able to research. Either way, it is necessary that you have a lot of knowledge of the organization. The organization does not have to be a business.
Like any good essay, your analysis paper should develop a few primary ideas or perceptions, support them with specific evidence, and analyze ideas in clear language and a logical order. You will be analyzing the organization based on anything from weeks 1-4. A good paper will cover many concepts from each week. For each concept or idea you are analyzing in this organization, you should have a section header. You should explain the concept (for example, the human relations model) and then you should apply it to your organization (for example, ways in which this organization fit the human relations model).
Length: 3 pages, not including the header and the works cited page. If this minimum page length is not met, you will automatically lose 30 points. If your paper is considerably short of this length, the instructor will deduct additional points. A good paper will likely need more than the minimum amount of pages.
Sources: Your paper should at least cite the readings. You may also use additional sources. These sources must be cited within your paper and on a separate reference page using APA style. If your paper does not have a works cited page, you will receive a zero on the paper.
