I am an immigrant from Kenya,Africa that came to this country about 6-7 years ago. There have been struggles along the way but I managed and i’m about to finish highschool. I am looking for an application essay that takes about the challenges I faced along the way and how I overcame them to get to where I am.Things such as language barrier, adjusting to the new curriculum, The weather changes. Issues interacting with my peers at first due to new environment and language issue. balancing sports(football) and school. Creating a photography business and the challenges that came with it while trying to grow the business. Starting to also work to fund myself and business. Balancing all of that with school. My involvement in a Kenyan Church as a seventh day adventist as part of serving the community You can also add some general community involvements and volunteer work that a high schooler would participate in.
