I need an essay that talks about my struggle with chrons disease
-at my 13th birthday party I started experiencing awful stomach pains, so bad that I could even eat my own birthday cake
-when I got home I lay down, and after a couple more hours of pain I started clutching my right side
-my parents thinking it was appendicitis took me to the hospital
-after hour of waiting it was not appendicitis but something much bigger as my entire ileum was inflamed as show in the ultra sound
– after much debate, they started my prep for a colonoscopy
-after the colonoscopy, I left the ER after 3 and returned home, thankfully pain free
– when the results came it was clear. i had chrons disease
– I started medication and was able to control it
– I went for regular checkups with my peds gi secilist
-however in april 2022 I again stated having extreme pains
-the doctors decided to do a colonoscopy again
-tey found out the medicine I was using had now started to be rejected by body as my body had started to fight the medicine thinking it was not good for me
-the situation was bad
-i was forced to start infusions
-this entire summer I was extremely symptomatic
-multiple doctor visits a week, throwing up 3 times a week, complete loss of appetite
-the las two months I have slowly become myself again, and hope now it is for the better
I want you to tell this as a very very sad story I want to have tears in my eyes as I read it, the admission officer should to. thank you
