Measurement Plan

1) Identify your two constructs. Place these in an X-Y relationship.
2. Define your two concepts with citations.
3) Search for measures of your constructs.
4) Describe how you will measure each construct. Provide info about the measure (e.g. authors, items, response set). Provide info on the validity and reliability of the measure.
5) Describe who you will collect data from and how you might go about collecting the data
6). Provide references for your work.

Start with your theoretical or conceptual framework. What are you measuring? What are you manipulative/observing?

Start with a conceptual definition … What do you need to capture/measure? Where should your data come from? how might you measure the concept? How can we judge the validity and reliability of the info from the measure?

Your proposed measurement plan ..
1. Conceptual definitions
2. Measures used to operationalize the concepts. Describe the measures and provide sample items. Provide evidence of validity and reliability.
3. Data collection. How will data be collected? Who will data come from?
