A portion of this discussion will use the video posted in the week 8 module as an example of a student interviewing her grandparents about Later Adulthood. I would like for you to do the same. For this assignment, I would like for you to identify someone who is 65 years or older. Interview them using the questions listed below. You can interview them in person or on the phone. (YOU WILL NOT NEED TO CREATE A VIDEO, but you may want to record it so that you can go back and get all of the pertinent information)

The expected format for the first objective would be for you to list the questions asked, followed by your interviewee’s response. I am expecting something more than just a short, brief answer for each question but not a soliloquy.

1) Interview someone 65 and older utilizing the 8 questions below. Add one ADDITIONAL question of your own which would make it a total of 9 questions. You must list the questions and response in your answers. Please include the age and gender of your interviewee. – 6 points

What is your daily routine?
Do you have any physical ailments?
Is the current healthcare system meeting your needs?
What do you do for fun?
Are your friends still with you?
Any regrets, and are you satisfied with your life?
What is your view on death?
Any advice for the younger generation?

2) List 3 resources within your community that can assist the older population in your town/city. Provide the name, phone #, address, and a short explanation of the service it provides. Examples can be found under Additional Programs in your text on pg. 719-721. Social Security, Medicare, SNAP, etc. cannot be used. – 3 points
