Language performance of identity markers (like fashion and branding) is a vehicle for constructing and communicating one’s identity (ones cultural and subcultural bricolage). How is language usage like fashion in terms of identity formation and presentation? How is its performance in both areas related to context? How do you express your identity and its markers through context specific language? How does this relate to your expression of identity through fashion?
