The purpose of assigning case studies in this course is to motivate you to keep up with assigned readings, and to come to class prepared to discuss common ethical issues that arise in the context of leadership.
3. Is a Lie Always a Lie (p. 118) What would Bentham and Kant tell you should say to Bens boss? What insight does Williams offer in to this situation? What would you do? Why?
In completing a case study, you must familiarize yourself with the readings that are assigned the week the case study is due (see the reading syllabus). You are required to submit a written response to the questions, which is due at the beginning of class. Your answers should be 1-2 double-spaced pages, and will be graded out of 10 marks on the basis of clarity (3 marks) and persuasiveness (7 marks).
