INTERLOCKING OPPRESSIONS (Criminology Course, Sex, Crime, Danger)

OBJECTIVE: A central theme in this course considers how the regulating and criminalization of sex is embedded in other interlocking forms of oppression.

Paper Topic: Drawing on course readings, write a 2-3 page (double spaced) response to the following question: How can we use intersectionality to respond the various ways that sex is regulated and criminalized? (Here you can take up the perspective of the criminal justice system [e.g., police, courts, corrections] or the perspective of activists and social movement actors)
