We welcome students who will enrich the diversity of thought and perspectives, and therefore, enhance the learning experiences of all. In what ways might you personally contribute to improving the experience of the campus as a welcoming and inclusive place to learn. Why are you interested in studying nursing at an institution committed to advancing health equity?

Point to perhaps note that can help here I am a first-generation college student. I come from a family of immigrants who did not receive formal education after high school. I speak Mandarin Chinese. I grew up poor on welfare. I paid my way through school for my bachelors degree. Lack of healthcare has impacted me directly as I have a family member diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and we did not find out until it was already in stage 4.
