Essay-type questions. In order to answer these questions, you should refer to the course notes in Units 9 and 10. More importantly, you are expected to make use of other appropriate sources wherever possible. Appropriate sources would be readings from other textbooks, articles from journals and magazines, newspapers or the Internet. You are also encouraged to include your own personal experiences wherever this is appropriate.
Note:
You must not just copy sections out of the readings but must
rephrase and explain everything you use. You should use quotations or paraphrase, and indicate your sources clearly in your final list of references.
You are advised to write no more than 800 words for each question. Marks will be deducted if your work excessively exceeds the word limit.
20% of the marks for each question will be awarded for language,
organization, and referencing.
