In at least 1800 words, write your own U.S. history by one group (e.g. English-speaking white women, landless European immigrants, enslaved African Americans, members of the Cherokee nation, Native Americans in the Southwest, slaveholders, white men with property, etc.) and one of these paired themes: equality/hierarchy; democracy/oligarchy; liberty/constraint; belonging/exclusion.

Option A) In at least 1800 words, write your own U.S. history by one group (e.g. Then choose at least seven turning points spread out over the entire course (1400s-1880s) that demonstrate how the group experienced the theme you have chosen. Reference both primary and secondary sources (primary sources preferred, but likely all the course books, and lecture), provide an overarching argument about which side of the theme pair has been dominant for your selected group in American history and why.
P.S in regards to the lectures and texts, dont worry. I attached some sheets that were given to us in class, the identications is everything we discussed. You can go through those sheets and pick a topic that would best fit your writing. Thank you so so so much.
