Question #2: The Russo-Ukraine War presents an interesting real-time case study of the way international communication processes and power dynamics can have extremely high stakes. In your essay, discuss the role of organizations like the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the United Nations and contrast the way they may communicate about the war with the way this is being discussed in the media. Use two (2) examples to support your discussion. Your essay should apply the concepts of the network society and world systems theory to connect your supporting examples to the way public responses to the Russo-Ukraine War represent changes in the global communication landscape.
