Please include these sections in your presentation:
1) Background: Describe the condition you are presenting including prevalence, who it most commonly affects, etc. This section should be brief as the focus of the project is on imaging. This should simply orient those not accustomed with the condition you are presenting on.
2) Clinical examination: Describe how this condition is diagnosed or screened for clinically. Rather than describing all the components of a typical examination, focus on the exam findings that would alert you to the possible presence of this condition.
3) Imaging modalities: Tell us what types of imaging are used to diagnose this condition. You should discuss ACR criteria as needed here. If there are no ACR criteria for the condition you selected, please cite other references that can be used to guide imaging decisions.
4) Imaging findings: What do we usually see on imaging for these types of patients? Are there different grading classifications or degrees of severity for this condition based on imaging? Must include a minimum of 1 image (cite source) and perform at least 1 ABCD(E/S) assessment for either a radiograph or advanced image.
5) Clinical impact: How does imaging effect care? You can discuss how this affects care overall but must include how it affects Physical Therapy care. For example, does this rule out a red flag? Or change the patients weight bearing status? Are they more likely to get surgery if this condition is found on imaging?
Please do not miss any of these questions in your slides. You don’t have to include extra things apart from these questions. Question number 3 and question number 4 should be explained in detail. When you use images, cite the source of image in APA 7 edition. It is recommended to use lot of images as required.
