If you had a chance to change one institution (could be a rule, regulation, etc.) in the U.S. federal government (the federal state), what would it be? Please explain why? While answering the “why” question, please refer to the power relations in the society as well as in the state and various ideological standpoints. Note: The term institution is very broad. I do not want to give examples in order not to influence your opinion. Still, here are some examples: Term limits (any federal politician or justice), Congressional procedures, electoral rule (single-member district vs. proportional representation), Electoral College, Supreme Court (packing or term limits), presidential powers (executive order), etc. The list can go on and on, please try to choose one that you are interested in.
