Students will view one movie/TV episode from choices provided by the Doctoral Students on Canvas.

In addition, students will locate one credible source of information on the topic of interpersonal violence as it affects family systems/members.

This additional source may be a scholarly book or peer-reviewed article written for clinicians, or a self-help book, article, or web site written for the public.

Students will write a 1-page, typed reaction paper with the following points:

Based on the movie you watched, what was the impact of family/domestic violence on the marriages, couples, and/or families depicted?
If the impact of the family violence was resolved more successfully than not, what factors do you think accounted for the successful resolution?
If the impact of the family violence was not resolved successfully, what factors do you think hindered resolution, and what would have helped?
What outside source did you find? What audience is it intended for? What did you find interesting or useful about it? Would you recommend it to others?
