With the above thoughts in mind, begin writing your evaluation paper. Hopefully, more than one of the essays in your text will interest you, but chose only one. Or, as a second option, you may evaluate the movie The Big Short. Why did the piece youve chosen interest you? Did you like it or dislike it? Begin with an effective summary. After summarizing the work youve chosen, you should assess the rhetorical situation: author, audience, purpose, occasion and topic. Which of the appeals weve talked about does the author incorporate? Have you recognized any fallacious reasoning? Do you think the essay was effective? Has it changed your views or influenced you in any way?
You should have a minimum of two works cited references.
