Performance results must be communicated effectively, both up and down the organization’s reporting structure. When results are not communicated effectively, management cannot make the best decisions to influence and improve performance.

1. Conduct internal (Walmart) and external research to identify some of the common performance reports used in your Walmart store or business.
2. Choose one Walmart report that contains indicators regarding store sales performance.
3. Use information from the course and the results of your research to address the following:
a. Select one indicator that you believe is critical for assessing performance. Explain.
b. Provide a recommendation for actions that would improve the positive result.
c. Provide a recommendation for actions that would improve the negative result.
d. Identify the communication method you would use to inform your manager.
