Your passion and the fit for the program and/or specialty
track to which you are applying
Experiences that have led you to this choice
How your professional goals will be achieved with an
advanced degree
That you understand and are prepared to handle the
demands, academic rigor, and professional expectations
of graduate studies.
I am interested in the specialty track of family nurse practitioner, I work at the university and understand the system. I am interested in helping underserved rural communities. I want to be a nurse practitioner because many of my favorite health providers are nurse practitioners.
This is the college’s mission statement, please tie it into my goals:
“We are committed to working together to serve the people of Utah and beyond by continually improving the quality of life for individuals and communities. We strive for excellence in education, research, and clinical care, and each mission is vital to our overall success.”
