Career presentations: Give a presentation to your department manager and co-workers, informing them of a particular topic. Some workplace topics to consider doing: How to Be Anti-Racist in the Workplace, Valuing Other Cultures, Human Rights and The Workplace, Equity in the Workplace, Ending Sexism in the Workplace. Think of ways that your human rights topic can be implemented into this presentation. Begin with specifying the context of your presentation and to whom you are speaking. For example, make the presentation as specific as possible: i.e. presenting to interior designers about how you all can show up for BIPOC trans women in your office and company, paying attention to specific steps they can take, make your work environment friendly to BIPOC and LGBTQ people. If you own the business, you could be presenting to your employees or to a bank, pitching your idea to secure money for a new initiative. Please try and make your presentation interactive and visual. Consider the myriad of topics we have covered this semester, including verbal and non-verbal communication, confirming environments, etc. Please present for 3-5 minutes
