How are economic, political science, or sociologic disciplinary perspectives represented in the articles you found?

Overview For this deliverable, your group will explain how individual disciplines (economics, political science, or sociology) contribute to our understanding of the problem you chose to analyze. You will demonstrate you can identify: A) the contribution of at least two disciplines (economics, political science, or sociology) to your understanding of the social problem, B) how are economic, political science, or sociologic disciplinary perspectives represented in the articles you found? This deliverable has two parts:

Part 1): Select two disciplines. For each discipline, write a paragraph that describes the discipline’s position on the social problem and some of the contributions the discipline has made to improve our understanding of the problem. Make sure to describe the characteristics of the discipline, such as its focus, topics of interest, assumptions, and other characteristics of the perspective. You should also highlight some differences in approaches or limitations in the disciplinary analysis. Each paragraph must contain between 100 and 150 words.

Part 2): Select four peer-reviewed journal articles in economics, political science, or sociology to include in your annotated bibliography 2. Make sure: a. you include at least one article from each discipline you selected in Part 1) above, b. if you include an article from the annotated bibliography 1, verify that the article was previously approved in your annotated bibliography 1, c. each article’s discussion should describe the main purpose of the article, the theories (and/or data sources) and concepts the article uses, the methods being used, the key findings, and the limitations, d. each article’s discussion should be summarized in one or two paragraphs containing between 200 and 250 words (between 800 and 1000 words in total).
