the development of the history of science based on theories regarding how science works. Francis Bacon and other early theorists introduced “Induction,” which was basically an amassing of information based upon observation through the senses. In the twentieth century, the Philosopher of Science, Karl Popper, introduced the concept of “falsification,” which involves formulation of a hypothesis that is capable of being falsified as a threshold of sorts for legitimate science. In the early 1960s, the Cincinnati native, Thomas Kuhn, a physicist and historian, introduced the concept of “Normal Science,” in which scientists work within an overriding “paradigm.”
