Helping people with substance use to get appropriate treatment

For your policy analysis, you must select an actual health-related bill that is moving through Congress or the California legislature. The first step in the project is to select an actual bill as the basis of your semester-long project. For bills in Congress, you can search for bills at www.congress.gov (Links to an external site.). For state bills, you can search the following website: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/home.xhtml (Links to an external site.)

Once you have identified a bill for your policy analysis, apply the eight-fold policy analysis process described by Bardach and Patashnik (2020) to make a recommendation on the bill.

Details:

Maximum fifteen (15) pages, double spaced, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman font;
Use headings and sub-headings and include tables and figures as needed embedded in the text of the analysis;
Number all pages;
