The purpose of this campaign is to help monitor adverse drug events which are injuries caused from medication use. This campaigns ultimate goal is to promote better medication safety for people of all ages. I believe that the this was the main goal of the campaign without any other subgoals, keeping people safe when it comes to medications was the priority. The messages highlighted in the campaign include adverse drug events for children, adults, and specific medicines. Each one of these messages goes into greater details on how to handle medications for the target audience. The specific communication used was education as Learning about medication safety can reduce and even prevent the risk of harm for you and your loved ones (CDC, 2017). This campaigns target audience is very broad, it could be for a wide variety of people as medication is something common for most people. It could attract more parents given that there is a message for medication safety for children and the campaign also includes a special program called PROTECT which is the Prevention of Overdose and Treatment Errors in Children Taskforce. The messages in this campaign are delivered very effectively I had no trouble understanding what was being said. Personally, this campaign did capture my attention there were many facts that I found shocking which enticed me to continue reading. This campaign did encourage me to improve my well-being by making changes in my medication practices. When I get sick, I tend to be more reckless about medication safety in desperation to try to get better, like taking an antibiotic after only 10 hours instead of waiting the full 12. Reading that antibiotics are one of the leading causes to emergency department visits for all ages is going to make rethink and use more precautions on my medicine use. From a professional level I would definitely recommend this campaign to promote because this medication safety awareness needs to be spread. Medication safety isnt necessarily top priority for people, and I believe that this campaign is a good way to educate people on the subject.

The Clean Hands Count campaign is one that is there to help spread awareness to people on how important it is to wash your hands. Throughout this campaign, there are several different promotional fact sheets and posters to allow people to understand the positive and negative aspects of maintaining healthy, clean hands. There are a few goals associated with this campaign: informing patients of hand cleaning recommendations based solely from the CDC, as well as discussing the true things regarding hand washing and also allowing patients to play an important part in their own health. The ultimate message of this campaign is to inform people on ways that they can protect not only themselves, but also those around them. The purpose of the specific communication is to just get this information out to everyone so that they can stay healthy. The message that this campaign holds is framed well, and the information is very well laid out and organized. We learn handwashing skills at a very young age, so we think that it would be basic information, however, there is a lot more to handwashing than what we think. With that being said, I definitely think that there is at least some comprehensive information being presented. From a personal standpoint, this campaign really did stand out to me and catch my attention. We all know that you’re supposed to wash your hands before you handle food and after you use the bathroom etc. but honestly, how many people actually do that? From the personal standpoint I know that I am guilty of not always washing my hands, but it bothers me when I go to a restaurant or to Walmart or any store and see an employee not washing their hands. From a professional standpoint I would recommend this campaign because it shows how important it is to keep your hands clean, especially with all the different sicknesses going around, it is very important.

The Hear her concerns campaign is a movement to spread awareness about women dying during childbirth due to complications during their pregnancies. A lot of problems that happen during pregnancies go unnoticed because doctors often downplay some pregnant peoples problems. In my child development class. I learn that black women are 2-6 times more times to die during pregnancy than white women. Often times, black womens pain does get overlooked due to the stereotypes that we are strong, and we can endure more pain that other races. The ultimate goal of this campaign is to educate parents, family, and others of the signs during the pregnancy term and after birth that can cause maternal complications. They want to try to help the patients be as comfortable as possible when speaking to their physicians, knowing that their symptoms and pain wont just be pushed to the side like other pregnant people in the past. The messages highlighted in this campaign include showing patients how to comfortably speak to their physicians about their pains, encouraging patients to have a strong support system that will push for her when the physicians often push her pain aside, even when pregnant people have had complications the goal is to help them speak up about their problems so other mothers become aware and are not afraid to speak up. The purpose of this specific communication is to educate, take action, and make a change. It doesnt really fall into a specific category It educates by letting mothers know that they are not alone and encourages them to speak up about their problems. This campaign takes action by making this problem heard to the world, especially the people that plan on getting pregnant. Hopefully change can begin to happen due to this campaign, it all starts with spreading awareness about it though. The target audience for this campaign is people in the health care industry that care for women during and after the pregnancy, their support systems, pregnant people, and ones who plan on getting pregnant. I do think this campaign is delivered effectively. From a personal perspective, visual representations usually catch my eye. So, it really helped when I saw the short one-minute video that I can watch to learn more about the message it was sending.
