How is the issue (topic of your presentation) defined by a *credible* source? Cite the source.
SLIDE #4: Which segment of the community are you focusing on? Be specific!
What are the specific factors associated with this population (see Chapter 3)?
Why did you choose this population?
How does the issue affect your community?
Include at least 2 statistics that describe the problem on a community/local, state and/or national level. Cite your sources.
What problems (e.g., health, economic, etc.) are related to your community health issue?

What interventions currently exist to address this problem in your community?
What is/are the level(s) of intervention you listed- primary, secondary or tertiary?
SLIDES #6 & 7: Choose 2 currently existing interventions to explore in-depth (one per slide).
Describe the intervention in detail- what is being done?
What are the advantages & disadvantages of the intervention?
Is it accessible to anyone?
Is it exclusionary in any way?
How effective is the intervention?
You'll need to find specific information, such as data or statistics (don't simply assume whether the intervention is successful or not).
SLIDE #8: Develop your own, unique intervention for the problem
Describe the details of your intervention- how is it different from others that already exist?
What theory/theories support your intervention (see your book)? Include at least 1 theory.
What are your goals/targets for your intervention? Be specific and think about SMART goals!
What is your optimal outcome for your intervention?
What will you measure to know if your intervention has been successful?
SLIDE #9: Conclusion- wrap up the main ideas of your presentation.

Did your research lead you to ask any new questions about your community health topic?

List reference citations in APA format for all sources used in developing and gathering information for your project.
