Find a clip from a country/ region/ culture that intrigues you. It can be particularly effective if you have a personal connection to the performance. I’ve had students from Eastern Europe and West Africa share clips from their home countries. That personal connection allowed them to communicate the meaning and history of the performances. But feel free to explore any share performance from anywhere in the world (outside the UK and USA- unless it’s traditional or folk art- such as Native American or folk traditions of the British Isles).
