Explain why you want to study your chosen major specifically at Georgia Tech?

Background: Students have been exposed to programming since 3rd grade with the basic programming language, Pascal. It brings interest to the student and makes him create different software with different programming languages. But when he was in 7th grade, he realized that the software he created only runs on available commands, and that’s when he bought himself his first smartphone. He questioned himself as to why his phone could recognize people’s faces in pictures; then, he started researching Machine Learning and Deep Learning. After he volunteered once in high school, he saw a boy who was blind, and it made him want to do something for the people around him. The fact that the computer had an eye and could understand what it saw through those eyes made him feel extremely excited. He wanted to learn more about those things than the basic programming subjects that universities usually teach. He’s interested in Georgia Tech’s “Threads” program, where they can focus and improve on their artificial intelligence interests. He looks forward to speaking with John Stasko at Georgia Tech to learn more about Computer Vision and how to optimize captured frames to help computers make the most accurate inferences. He believes that transferring to Georgia Tech will be a precious opportunity for him to develop his knowledge and qualifications, where he can be exposed to more real-life projects. He wants to apply computer science to security and robotics to make people’s lives better.
In addition, you can research more about Georgia Tech to create connections between the background and Georgia Tech to help answer the above question.
Students have gone through machine learning classes at Coursera and have implemented some software that guesses age through cameras.
