The personal statement should not exceed one page but be a minimum of two developed paragraphs and should be typed in 12 point font. It must include the following
1)Explain who you are and your career goals in the field of healthcare.
2)Tell the committee why or what inspired you to choose your desired career.
3)Give your G.P.A., and detailed positive information about your GPA, if this is your first semester, you still address the GPA issue.
4)Discuss in specifics your community service and/or volunteerism or leadership qualities.
5)Explain if you plan on continuing your education and/or how you plan to help others.
6)Conclude with why you deserve this scholarship and how you plan to use the funds if received.
The format for this is a three-four paragraph essay.
