To draw from explicit examples in the course readings and materials to explain what global food is exactly and how different food and cuisines have spread from certain parts of the world to others. Explain what the positive aspects of global food are and what the negative aspects are and why many people around the world and attempting to reform our “global” systems of food production. Lastly, please also highlight the ways in which our readings and discussions have changed (or not) you own outlook regarding food, culture, and society and the ways in which you individually interacixct with the food you consume.
