Discussion Board 1
Explain the interaction between psychology and the legal system. Criminal behavior is often the result of an interaction between genetic and environmental factors; however, many believe that one may be a more significant cause. Referencing and citing material from the text and/or an outside source, choose one side of the argument (genetics or environment) and discuss why this particular factor is more important in determining criminal or abnormal behavior. Ensure you take time to research BOTH sides. Also, if you have not gone through the Module and read the chapters, reviewed the Power Points, and watched the video, you will likely not do well as you wish. For example, if you think that environment is more important than genetics, why do you feel this is so? What support do you have for your view? Don’t forget to reference your sources at the end of your initial post.
REMEMBER–this is an academic post. You must support your opinion with expert sources. Cite sources in-text and at the end with a Reference list in APA.
As always, be respectful of your classmates and their opinions. For this assignment you must complete an original post answering the discussion board question. Your original post must be a minimum of 250 words to meet the requirements of this assignment. In addition you must provide response posts to two of your classmates’ discussion board posts, at a minimum. Your response posts must be a minimum of 100 words and should contribute to the overall discussion.

All discussion boards (DB)/writing assignments (WA) must use in-text citations when referencing any material that is not common knowledge and from another source.
You CANNOT quote for any reason in the DB’s or WA. Why? One goal of college is to get you to synthesize information from your reading into your own words.
A Reference list must also be included at the end of your DB and a reference page included on your writing assignment (WA) in Module 7.
