Demonstrate proficiency in the basic skills of math, English, and science. Create a power point presentation to be delivered to parents of preschoolers. Teach parents what they can do to enhance and strengthen their child’s math and science skills during everyday conversations and outings. Think of questions they can ask their child to stimulate creative and critical thinking. Teach then where to find teachable moments in their day. How to relate math to everyday situations, and easy science projects to do at home. Explain the importance of math and science in education and show how much influence math and science have in our everyday lives.
Students will submit a 300-500 word paper discussing their project. The paper should cover the following six (6) areas:
A detailed description of the project, including a measurable objective.
How the student collaborated with their supervisor in creating the project.
The implementation of the project, including any difficulties encountered in
