1. An organizations success depends on its ability to quickly identify changes in the external environment and respond to them. Change is inevitable and being flexible enough to deal with unexpected changes in the environment could be the difference between survival and failure for an organization.

The COVID pandemic is the latest case study that describes how the external environment can affect an organization.
